These brownies are bound to make your taste buds tickle with the addition of IPA. The beer gives the brownie a slight bitter taste and an extra fudgey texture without making it too beery.
Ingredients
- 200g plain flour
- 70g cocoa powder
- 300g sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1tsp coffee granules
- 120g white choc chips
- 3 eggs
- 120ml vegetable oil
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1tsp vanilla
- 150ml IPA beer of choice
Technique
First of all, preheat your oven to 170 degrees fan. Then grease and line your brownie tin. Mix together the flour, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. Then add the dry ingredients into the egg mixture. Stir in your melted butter and the beer (keep stirring as it will gradually come together).
Gently fold in the choc chips and then pour your brownie batter into your lined tray. Cook for 25/30 mins then leave to cool completely. For extra gooey-ness, put in the fridge once cooled; this will help you cut it up at the end too!
